Coming to you two days earlier than usual since Thursday is our great nation’s birthday! We wanted to make sure you had all of the holiday events around town so you could make your plans (along with our usual updates).

🇺🇸 Americana Festival

With an attendance of over 85,000 attendees, Americana Festival holds the title of Ohio's largest one-day festival!
The festivities begin with the parade at 10 am followed by an awesome auto show. All day, you’ll see Uptown Centerville packed with vendors, food trucks, and performances including live music, theatre, and magic.
Wondering where you can get a cold drink at this hot event? The Heart of Centerville-Washington Township (HOCWT) has you covered. We’ll be serving ice-cold and locally crafted brews at 3 different beer tents: one on Franklin, another at Benham's Grove, and one by Routsong.
Keeping it local, these drinks are provided by Centerville's own Bock Family Brewing, Heavier Than Air, and Loose Ends.
I just got a sneak peek tasting of the drinks they'll have on tap last week. And let me say, there are a lot of flavors to savor. I'm certain you'll find something you like.
A first for us, we’ll have a booth set up with our fellow HOCWT members in the vendor village behind Agave & Rye. Swing by and say hi!

🎇 Centerville Fireworks

📍 Centerville High School Stadium

Kick-off Centerville's two-day Americana celebration right on Wednesday night. Stadium gates open at 6 with a diverse lineup of food trucks outside to get you your fix.
Live music gets going at 6:30 pm all building up to the fantastic fireworks display at 10 pm! See the schedule here.

📍 Kettering Field, Downtown Dayton

See the sky light up over the Miami River in Downtown Dayton! Viewing areas will be set up at Kettering Field (just north of downtown) for the fireworks starting at 10 pm.
Get there early with blankets and chairs in tow to make sure you get a spot for the show. Nearby streets will be closed starting around 6 pm. Learn more here.
🇺🇸 Yellow Springs’ 4th Of July

📍 Gaunt Park, Yellow Springs

Join the Yellow Springs community for a vibrant 4th! While the parade is earlier in the day at 2 pm, the party at Gaunt Park starts at 6:30 pm.
Arrive early to set up your seating, enjoy the community band, and grab dinner from local food trucks. Then enjoy the fireworks starting after sunset (a little past 9). Learn more here.
🇺🇸 Fairborn’s 4th Of July

📍 Community Park, Fairborn

Do the Fourth in Fairborn! Pop in for the parade downtown at 10 am, and then join the party at the park starting at 4 pm.

Bop over to Beavercreek for an Independence Day celebration! The festivities kick off with a parade at 6 pm, starting at Meadow Bridge Drive and ending near Beavercreek High School.
After the parade, head to the park for live music, inflatables, and delicious food from local food trucks. Cap off the night with a spectacular fireworks show at 10 pm. Learn more here.

Drones + Fireworks? That's a first for our area, proudly being put on by Kettering! Enjoy a 12-minute drone light performance synchronized with fireworks at 10 pm.
